Résumé

Margot Merry is prepping for a quiet, lonely Christmas without her grandmother to keep her company - Grandma Rudy has retired down south, leaving Margot to run her bookstore Rudy's. As a huge winter storm settles in outside, Margot's holiday plans consist of shutting her bookstore up tight, heading home, and curling up with a large book (or a few) to get through the days. As the storm creeps closer, Jack Bright's holiday plans are ruined as all planes are grounded.
Dejected and sad at missing out on her usual family-filled Christmas, Jack's only plans are now eating left over baked goods from her bakery and hanging out with her staffy, Loaf. On Christmas Eve eve, Margot is just about to close up for the night when she discovers a leak from the cafe above putting her antique book collection in danger; Jack stops by on her way home, and the two of them try to rescue the books.
After breaking into the cafe and stopping the leak, Jack and Margot are plunged into darkness as the storm escalates outside, trapping them without power in the bookstore overnight. The two of them settle in for a night of old holiday music, childhood stories, building snowmen, and perhaps finding a little bit of Christmas magic of their own.
