Une aura de mystère plane sur tout le livre, et le lecteur comme Ombre ne savent pas discerner les limites de la réalité durant la première partie du roman. Avec ses racines mythologiques profondes, sa guerre souterraine entre divinités oubliées et nouveaux dieux et ses personnages en nuances, secrets et fascinants, "American Gods" est un de mes livres préférés.
