La culture du prendre-soin

We forget and choose to ignore what we no longer take the time to see, sometimes out of weariness or habit. We no longer take the time to see it because we are overwhelmed by the demands of daily life. Caring is not limited to doing, nor even to doing well. In the medical and social fields, particularly when caring for the elderly-where bodies slow down, silences become language, and presence is sometimes the only possible care-there is an invisible requirement: an inner disposition.
It is a way of being. It recognizes an intact dignity in every person. A unique story. Many of you embody this culture of caring. However, this quality is not reflected on a diploma. Rather, it is cultivated through daily life and the subtle yet essential gestures.
