Trio

Jindrich Feld (1925-2007), one of the outstanding Czech composers of the 20th century, studied composition and musicology at the Academy of Music and the Charles University in Prague and taught at the Prague Conservatoire as professor of composition from 1972-86. After the democratization of the Czech Republic, he took part in many music associations and committees and since 1992 was the director of the music department of the Czech Radio for a few years.
His comprehensive oeuvre comprises above all orchestral and chamber music works. The Wind Trio from 1987, now published for the first time, ideally combines the eagerness to experiment with the classical form, giving the players rewarding, sometimes rhythmically subtle and playful virtuoso tasks. Suited for concerts and competitions. Instrumentation : oboe (flute), clarinet and bassoon
