Martin Carayol Remarques sur le canon finlandais de la nouvelle Cet article constitue une étape dans l'élaboration d'une thèse sur la formation du canon finlandais de la nouvelle. L'auteur y présente la notion de canon littéraire et observe, au moyen d'un questionnaire, quelles sont les nouvelles perçues par les lecteurs finlandais comme les plus importantes dans leur tradition littéraire. En fonction du nombre d'occurrences dans les réponses au questionnaire, l'article évoque également les recueils de nouvelles et les auteurs ressentis comme canoniques en Finlande.
Les résultats donnent lieu à une première esquisse du canon finlandais de la nouvelle, et à plusieurs remarques sur les difficultés du sujet et sur les enjeux de la thématique canonique. This article is a step in the writing of a doctoral thesis about the formation of the Finnish short story canon. The author introduces the notion of literary canon and uses a questionnaire to observe which short stories are seen by the Finnish readers as the most important in their literary tradition.
Depending on the number of occurrences in the answers, the article also deals with short story collections and short story authors, examining which ones are the most canonical. Die results enable a first approach to the Finnish short story canon, and allow us to make several remarks on the specifac dificulties of the subject and on its importance.
