Résumé

From the bestselling author of Widows and Prime Suspect. Jane Tennison has worked hard to become the first female detective ever posted to "the Sweeney", the notorious boys' club of the Met's Flying Squad. But dealing with some of London's most ruthless criminals is no joke, and Tennison's new colleagues make it clear that they don't think a woman is up to the dangers of the job. Determined to prove she's as good as the men, Tennison's investigation leads her to a reliable witness and the discovery that a gang is planning to carry out a massive armed robbery involving millions of pounds.
Tennison doesn't know who they are or where they will strike. And with time fast running out, she must put everything on the line to stop them - including her own life...
