Simonetta Greggio, journalist and author, was born in Venezia, into a real Italian-style family. She studied letters in Padua, and in Paris followed the seminars of Kundera. She quickly fell in love with France and the French art de vivre, but without renouncing the joys of Italy. The ideal axis for the course she took was divided between the rugged beauty of Brittany and the suaveness of Tuscany, an ideal route which passes through the perfumed paths of Provence. Her writings are centred around her travels and the different ways of practising tourism without being a tourist. This guide is dedicated to all those for whorn a journey always begins under the soles of their shoes. Hervé Champollion, fascinated by history and geography, has signed the texts and photographs of many guides, albums and articles which are evidence of his passion for travel. He bas criss-crossed Provence several times to present it in A its diversity, and made this special photo-reporting to illustrate these routes and discoveries.
