Since ancient times, China has always been a unified country with various ethnic groups coexisting together. Due to their uniqueness in lifestyle and culture, each group has a different aesthetic sense, which are reftected in their decorative patterns. Featuring 10 Chinese ethnic minority groups - Miao, Yi, Yao, Uighur, Tibetan, Mongolian, Qiang, Tujia, Zhuang and Dong - this book focuses on the definitive patterns found in their everyday (ives, such as clothing, carpets and architecture.
The patterns have been adapted, recreated and refined with Adobe Itlustrator and kept in a vector format, and can be easily used by designers of any discipline, be it fashion, textile, graphic or interior design.
