Résumé

Consulting detective Sherlock Holmes and his partner John Watson investigate a murder that appears to have been committed by a ghost. Centuries ago, Hugo Baskerville was killed by a vicious hell-hound, and now Sir Henry Baskerville has been found dead, seemingly killed by the same legendary hound. Can Holmes and Watson stop the next Baskerville heir from suffering the same fate? The Hound of the Baskervilles was the most successful of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series.
Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories have been adapted numerous times, including the 2009 and 2011 movies starring Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr., and for the popular television shows Elementary, starring Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu, and the BBC's Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. HarperPerennial Classics brings great works of literature to life in digital format, upholding the highest standards in ebook production and celebrating reading in all its forms.
