A photo shoot in Paris for several magazines leads me to several spreads in the February editions of magazines. CIA needs to liquidate me as I am being retired and so several open contracts are out on me. My Tanuki anime film has people protesting that I should not be in it. Watching a game in a movie star's box on the Raptors side. Cocktails all night and I get to experience Toronto with a Canadian movie star.
Paparazzi follow us everywhere. What a date, or is it a date or not? I fly out to the arctic and crash my plane. It is cold and dark in the arctic at this time of year and I was not suppose to be here. Someone shot me down while I was flying a single engine private plane. There is no light and I am in the null zone, so have no idea what way is the right way to get out of here. My head hurts and it is wet, but I see nothing as I walk dizzily in an aimless destination.
They, some new friends I met over the years and some especially from my year at UCLA, suggested I rent a costume for the carnival festival happening while I am here in Trinidad for one of their weddings. It reveals a bit much for me, but it is a nice costume. So much to do and explore as this is not just a vacation, but a work thing. The CIA has had reports of strange things going on in a ruins that could effect the US.
What that is, is anyone's guess but they want me to investigate and not guess. I suspect it to be a trap as the CIA work to retire me. This is my last mission and that does not bode well for me. Wounded badly and I am not sure what I am suppose to do here. Magic calls me and I see the past. When the plane is going down we nearly hit the top of Machu Picchu. Some with less wounds have died already, this could be the last thing that I ever do.
