Résumé

Jane and the Death Angels was written by actress Aesha Waks, director Sean Buttimer and french author and artist Crow. This book is a mix of our ideas. Jane was created by Aesha Waks, the other characters and the mythology surrounding them were created by Crow. 10% of the sales will go to a charity. An author is the missing piece of the great puzzle of Literature. An author is the catalyst between Fiction and Reality, the one who has the potential to create new universes and merge lands and oceans into one unique world.
Their characters are like their children, they are what's most important in their eyes. But... When the author loses their flame, when ink stops flowing... What happens to those people who were once loved and adored and are now left to perish in a rather hostile universe? Aren't we all the characters of an authorless, unfinished manuscript? When Jane loses her parents in a car accident and is afterward abandoned by her author, she finds herself at a place where all she can think about is what could have been and what was lost.
When the Grimm family comes in to adopt her, what is she supposed to do or say but 'I'm afraid'? Who are the Death Angels? What is their purpose? Can a fictional character survive without their writer?

À propos des auteurs

Aesha's first passion on this planet has been poetry. Ever since she was a little girl, she has been picking up awards for her writing, leaving trails of moonbeams, stardust, and truth everywhere she roams. She picked up first place at the Junior Fire Chief Poetry Awards at age six, Creative Writing Award at Mark Twain Junior High School, first place in Kingsborough Community College's Silver Award, and her poem "The Midnight Hour" was featured in the Angelina Jolie-produced film Lovesick. Aesha's poetry is mostly inspired by romance and named after friendships and affairs with rock stars and celebrities she has met along the way.
After nights on open mic at the renowned Knitting Factory, Aesha went on to become a professional hip-hop recording and live artist. Aside from being an award-winning actress, she is also the author of The Model Body Plan (AeshaWorld.com). Here is a look into her young teenage mind and where she sprung and was created from. All artwork courtesy of Aesha Waks's Recycle collection, all made of recycled trash and auctioned off at Coalition for the Homeless.
Aesha's first piece was bid on and won by renowned artist Donald Baechler, artist of the Shafrazi Gallery.
