Résumé
The Galactic Human Federation has been taken over by the Magisterium Purim, an ancient enemy that everyone forgot about. Almost everyone. A small resistance, led by former Ranger Ralth Martin's estranged brother Gel, has sprung up. But their efforts go nowhere until a former enemy of Ralth's forms a convenient alliance with him.
