(Tatami), and Louis Vuitton : 100 Legendary Trunks (Abrams), as well as other lifestyle books published by Rizzoli in Italian and English. An art-history graduate of the Ecole du Louvre and the Sorbonne, Isabelle Valembras-Dahirel divides her time between Paris and Milan.
Having spent several years in the commercial department of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, she worked in Italy with some of the most prestigious names in design, including Rossana Orlandi, . nobody&co. , Secondome and Nilufar. Artistic consultant to the Fondazione Nuovi Mecenati, she is the curator of France : Instant Présent for Luciano Benetton's Imago Mundi collection. As an associate of the Thierry Kauffman agency she represents artists, developing artistic and commercial projects with galleries, interior designers and key players in the world of luxury.
She has been writing for the Louis Vuitton City Guides since 2014. A night owl and connoisseur of long-forgotten alcoholic beverages, Corrado Beldi enjoys late-night conversations and jazz in ail its forms. He is a contributor to various publications, such as Rolling Stone, Abitare, Vogue Italia and Zero, where he sometimes writes under the appropriate nom de plume of Arthur Cravan. Co-founder of the Rest-Art cultural association, for several years he has been artistic director of the NovarraJazz festival, and has worked for Aperitivo in Jazz at the Coccia Theatre in Novarre and the delightful Culatello & Jazz held at the Roccabianca castle in Parma.
He is also a member of the honorary committee of the International Modern and Contemporary Art Fair in Milan (miart) and of More, a museum of refused or unrealized art projects. For the Louis Vuitton Milan City Guide he writes about nightlife and cocktails. Founded in 1991, Tendance floue (literally, a tendency to be out of focus) is a group of thirteen photographers who have created a collective with the aim of working together to open up new perspectives and diversify the ways that contemporary photography can represent the world.
In addition to their personal work, these photographers nurture their collective photographic research by comparing images, assemblages and combinations, their pooled results giving rire to completely new material. Involved in the press, publishing, exhibitions, screenings, collection prints, and corporate and institutional marketing, this collective is open to everything, embracing all the different media of contemporary photography.
Milan is brought into focus by Tendance floue photographer Alain Willaume. Alain Willaume has created a singular body of work from his engagement with different countries over many years. As a result of his long trips away from familiar lifestyles, he has established a personal map of enigmatic images that reflect the violence and speak to the world's vulnerability. Tendance floue is his fast photographic home port.
