Biographie de Sarah Mayor Cox

Robert Ingpen was born in Geelong, Victoria, Australia in 1936. Later, he graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Since 1970, he has written and illustrated over 100 books for children and adults alike. With a solid philosophy for how beautiful books are created, Ingpen began a journey that would take him through many eras of time and artistic genres. The fruits of his knowledge and creativity are represented in over one hundred and fifty international publications.
Ingpen is noted for his variety of themes and diversity of styles. In 1986, Robert Ingpen was awarded the highest honor in the children's book world, the Hans Christian Andersen Medal, for his lasting contributions to international children's literature. Mr. Ingpen lives with his wife, Angela, in Angelsea, Australia.
