Robin Hobb is one of those authors that can pull me into a story very deeply.
With the Farseer trilogy, of course, but this is proof that she can do it with shorter work as well.
I don't usually read short stories, but I made an exception.
This collection of short stories is very powerful, full of magic.
Each story is very different (travellers and dead cats, aliens, charms... there are many worlds here), but the writing is superb throughout.
It is full of details I still remember, and I read it ten years ago, if that tells you anything.
Memorable, and beautiful as always.
