Biographie de George Maestri

George Maestri has worked as a writer, director, and producer in both traditional and computer animation for such companies as Nickelodeon, Warner Bros, Disney, Comedy Central, Curious Pictures, Film Roman, MGM, ABC, CBS, and FOX. He was the original animation producer on the Comedy Central series South Park and was nominated for a Cable Ace award for writing on the Nickelodeon series Rocko's Modern Life. His characters "Karen & Kirby" have appeared regularly on the Kids' WB network. "When Animals Go Berserk," an episode of this series, was shown to wide acclaim as a short film at a number of animation festivals, including Siggraph 2000. George is the author of (digital) Character Animation 2, Volume 1 Essential Techniques (New Riders, 1999). He has also written several other books and numerous articles on computer animation for magazines such as Digital Magic, Computer Graphics World, DV, Animation Magazine, and New Media. He is the editor of the New Riders (digital) series.
