À propos des auteurs

Tristan Roulot is a French journalist and scriptwriter, born in Rennes in 1975. After obtaining a Master's degree in law, he left the judicial sector to devote himself to comics. He started his scriptwriting career with the humorous series "Goblin's" (Soleil), illustrated by Corentin Martinage, which has become a great commercial success, with more than 200, 000 copies sold. In Canada he met Patrick Hénaff, with whom he created "Le Testament du Capitaine Crown" (Soleil), a dark and violent two-part thriller.
The pair later joined with Philippe Sabbah for "Hedge Fund" (Le Lombard), a financial drama at five volumes and counting. Roulot has gone on to create "Irons" (Le Lombard, with Luc Brahy), set in Canada, as well as "Arale" (Dargaud, with Denis Rodier), which reimagines a Russia that never was, blending fact and dark fantasy into a spellbinding fable on the price of power. Most recently, he has devoted himself to the dystopian series "Le Convoyeur" (Le Lombard; "The Transporter, " Europe Comics), alongside Dimitri Armand, and the magical new series "La Forêt du temps" (Le Lombard; "The Forest of Time, " Europe Comics), with Mateo Guerrero. Dimitri Armand is part of today's younger generation of creators nourished by a variety of multicultural influences, ranging from manga to superhero comics to the Franco-Belgian classics, which he discovered through magazines such as "Lanfeust" and series like "Travis" (Delcourt).
Armand initially wanted to become an animator, but a few years of studies were enough to make him realize that his style was better suited to the field of comics, a feeling reinforced by his discovery of the work of creators like Enrico Marini. Armand made his way slowly into the field before meeting Thomas Cheilan. Sharing a taste for fantastic universes, they would together create "Salamandre" (Le Lombard).
Just after finishing his studies, Armand had the good fortune of collaborating with Jean-Charles Gaudin, a teacher at his school who had immediately been impressed by the young artist's abilities. The result was "Angor" (Soleil), and that was just the start. Today, Armand has the privilege of contributing to the rebirth of one of the most preeminent figures in Franco-Belgian comics, with "Bob Morane: Renaissance, " alongside authors Luc Brunschwig and Aurélien Ducoudray (Le Lombard; "Bob Morane: Resurrection, " Europe Comics).
He also collaborated with writer Pierre Dubois to create the striking western "Sykes, " for the Lombard "Signé" collection (2015, Europe Comics in English 2017), and most recently has devoted himself to the dystopian series "Le Convoyeur" (Le Lombard; "The Transporter, " Europe Comics), alongside Tristan Roulot.
